Salient Features

  • Consists of three components: 1. Component A: 10,000 MW decentralized solar/renewable energy plants on agricultural lands.
    1. Component B: 3.5 million stand-alone solar pumps for off-grid areas to replace diesel pumps.
    1. Component C: Solarization of 3.5 million grid-connected agriculture pumps (including feeder-level solarization). Beneficiaries: Farmers, FPOs, PACS, and panchayats.
